Job Role:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled MERN Stack Developer with 1–4+ years of hands-on experience in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing dynamic web applications, building scalable backend services, and delivering seamless user experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications.
Role + Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Build reusable and efficient front-end components using React.js.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Work with MongoDB to design schemas, queries, and optimize database performance.
- Ensure responsiveness, performance, and cross-browser compatibility of applications.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into functional applications.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Work closely with team members for requirement understanding and timely delivery.
- Maintain proper documentation of development processes and code.
Person Specification and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–4+ years of hands-on experience in MERN stack development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and Node.js.
- Experience with Express.js for backend development.
- Practical knowledge of MongoDB and database design.
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and web application architecture.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Basic understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Plus Points (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience with Redux, Context API, or other state management tools.
- Knowledge of Next.js for server-side rendering.
- Familiarity with SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Understanding of Docker and containerized applications.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
